Actress Priyanka Chopra has once again demonstrated her star power by being among the Top 5 most influential celebrities at the Oscars according to Earned Media Value (EMV).
EMV is a crucial indicator that assesses the digital effect and online visibility that public figures produce during high-profile events.
With an EMV of USD 3.3 million, actor Pedro Pascal, who also hosted the event, topped the list. Kylie Jenner, who received USD 3.1 million for attending the event in support of Oscar-winning Timothée Chalamet, came after him. With USD 2.7 million, Anne Hathaway took third place, demonstrating the presenters' tremendous online popularity.
With an excellent EMV of almost USD 2.2 million, Priyanka, who was present at the ceremony, took fourth place. The actress increased her visibility on international digital platforms by turning heads on the red carpet in a sophisticated white Dior costume with feather details.
Zoe Saldaña, who won Best Supporting Actress last year and earned an EMV of USD 1 million, completed the top five. Sentimental Value won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film, which Priyanka presented at the event.
The actress continued to be well-known during the awards season, attending a number of pre-Oscar parties and fashion shows in addition to the main event. Earlier this year, she also presented at the Golden Globes.
On the work front, Priyanka is slated to resume filming for SS Rajamouli's next movie, Varansai, in Antarctica. According to rumours, the crew will shoot at the Ross Ice Shelf, which would be a unique cinematic endeavour in the harsh environment.
The actress recently starred in The Bluff.
