Kartik Aaryan spent 14 months learning Marathi language & dialect for Chandu Champion: Reports

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has really put everything he has into his new movie, 'Chandu Champion'. A source close to the film shared that Kartik didn't just act; he also spent 14 months learning the Marathi language. He had a special teacher to help him get really good at it.

Last August, Kartik showed everyone the first look of him in the movie. In the picture, he's wearing an India blazer, has short hair, looks very serious, and you can see a few scrapes on his face.

For 'Chandu Champion', Kartik underwent a remarkable transformation that went beyond mastering the Marathi dialect. He dedicated himself to embodying the physical and emotional essence of his character. This involved rigorous training and a strict diet, enabling him to accurately portray the character as the role demanded. The movie is going to hit theatres on June 14, 2024, right before Eid-al-Adha, making it a special Eid movie for Kartik's fans. Celebrating the end of filming, Kartik shared how happy he was to finally eat sugar after a whole year.

He talked about how hard he worked for more than a year, with eight months of shooting in different places around the world. He finished his note by thanking his director, Kabir Khan, calling him a huge inspiration and sharing his joy with a picture of Rasmalai, his favourite sweet.

Besides 'Chandu Champion', Kartik's fans can look forward to seeing him in two more films. He's working with director Hansal Mehta on a movie called 'Captain India' and with Anees Bazmee on 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. Both of these projects show how versatile and busy Kartik is as an actor.
