Fans have been eagerly awaiting the highly anticipated Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4, and the makers have just shared an exciting update on the film.
Filmmaker Anees Bazmee revealed that production of the fourth instalment of the popular horror-comedy series has started.
During a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Anees has also confirmed that Kartik Aaryan will also return in the horror franchise.
The filmmaker complimented the actor and said, “The world would have never known of his fabulous comic timing if it wasn't for 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'. I am planning a couple of comedies with Kartik.”
Confirming the fourth instalment of the horror-comedy starring Kartik Aaryan, Anees continued, “Most definitely. It is a work in progress. The love that the series has accrued over the years is unsurpassable. So yeah, it is happening. The only factor that I can confirm is Kartik.”
The filmmaker also praised 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 stars Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan. He said, “The two legends together, they never let me feel I was working with legends. They were punctual, disciplined, competitive and yet collaborative. Bohat mazaa aaya (Had a lot of fun).”
The filmmaker also teased the possibility of the return of Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan in the upcoming instalment.
He shared, “It could! On the other hand, we may have some other actress who has never been part of the franchise before.”
For the unversed, Karti recently celebrated the first anniversary of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', which was released on November 1, 2024. The film became the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of the year. The film also turned out to be the biggest hit of Kartik’s career, earning Rs 421 crore worldwide. The film also featured Kiara Advani in a pivotal role.
