Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Tabu’s forthcoming film Crew, directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, which releases on March 29, marks the first collaboration between the three actresses, who play the role of cabin crew members. With just two days left for the film’s release, Crew’s writing duo Mehul Suri and Nidhi Mehra have revealed that, as reported by ANI, the trio underwent intense training sessions for their roles. In an official statement, Suri and Mehra said, to achieve perfection in their characters, the actresses received specialised training from former air hostesses. The makers also invited the professionals on the set. Suri and Mehra further said, “They had former cabin crew members on set for a few days to help with the authenticity. Tabu, Kareena and Kriti paid close attention, asked questions and ensured accuracy in their portrayal through constant communication with the team.”

Additionally, the makers also recently unveiled some compelling tracks from the album, including Choli Ke Peeche, Ghagra and Naina. The remake of Sanjay Dutt’s 1993 song Khal NayakCholi Ke Peeche is the latest song released by the makers. Kareena Kapoor shared the music video on her Instagram timeline and wrote, “'90s ka magic, Crew ki masti! I’m flying to you with a great new song ft. Diljit Dosanjh.” FYI, the song is choreographed by Farah Khan.

The trailer of the film hints that the film is set against the backdrop of a struggling airline called Kohinoor. It also shows the lead actresses Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Tabu having a tough time navigating life. Amid all the chaos in their lives, the crew finds a dead passenger smuggling gold cookies and begins hatching their own plans. Everything is going well until Diljit Dosanjh enters the scene. The Punjabi singer-actor narrates the role of a customs officer and keeps a close eye on the three women.

Kareena Kapoor shared the trailer of the film and wrote on Instagram, “Brace yourself! Your #Crew is ready to take you on a WILD ride! Crew Trailer out now. Crew In theaters March 29. @tabutiful @kritisanon @diljitdosanjh and a special performance by @kapilsharma.”

Crew has been co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, who are reuniting after the 2018 hit Veere Di Wedding. The 2018 film also featured Kareena Kapoor along with Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania.
