From Shaitaan to Singham Again, 5 Ajay Devgn movies you can’t miss this year

If 2023 was all about Shah Rukh Khan, 2024 promises to be the year of Ajay Devgn. The Singham star has already released Vikas Bahl directed Shaitaan, a supernatural thriller also starring R. Madhavan and Jyotika, Now, he is set to unleash four more potential blockbuster that will see the actor explore new film genres as well as sequels to some of his earlier successful films. If things go as planned, Devgn is all set to break Akshay Kumar's record of releasing the most films in a year.

Ajay Devgn fan? Here are four of the most anticipated releases of the Drishyam star, after Shaitaan (released March 8, 2024):

1. Maidaan

Release Date: 11 April

This period sports drama directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma (of Badhaai Ho fame) is all about the golden era of Indian football from 1952 to 1962. Apart from Ajay Devgn in the lead role as coach Syed Abdul Rahim, the movie also stars Priyamani, Rudranil Ghosh, Gajraj Rao and others. It is scheduled for a Eid 2024 release.

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha

Release Date: 14 June

This romantic thriller directed by Neeraj Pandey will also star Tabu and Jimmy Shergill in important roles.

Singham Again

Release date: 15 August

Adding more excitement to Independence Day celebrations will be Devgn’s much anticipated Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty. This action entertainer which is the third part of the franchise, boasts a star studded cast of Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor.

Raid 2

Release Date: 15 November

The Drishyam actor will be closing the year on a powerful note with Raid 2. This Raj Kumar Gupta directed film also stars Vaani Kapoor as the female lead and Riteish Deshmukh as the antagonist.
