It was Day 2 of Diljit Dosanjh's concert in Delhi and fans were all pumped up to attend his Dil-Luminati tour on Sunday (October 27). It was again a full house as fans jammed to the Punjabi singer's hit songs.

It was Day 2 of Diljit Dosanjh's concert in Delhi and fans were all pumped up to attend his Dil-Luminati tour on Sunday (October 27). It was again a full house as fans jammed to the Punjabi singer's hit songs.

During his performance, he took a pause and addressed the gathering as to why he keeps saying 'Punjabi Aa Gaye Oye'. He told the huge crowd that when he was born, his mother spoke Punjabi, hence he automatically learnt that language first.

He also said that he loves and respects all the languages.

Diljit himself shared a video on his Instagram feed and is addressing the gathering in Punjabi. He said: "When I was born my mother spoke in Punjabi. I learnt my first work in Punjabi. Our country has different languages and I respect them a lot, be it Gujarati, or Marathi. Some speak Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi, and I respect them very much. Because my mother speaks Punjabi, so I too speak Punjabi. So, I say Punjabi Aa Gaye Dilli Oye." He got a roaring response from the audience.

Post this he sang Main Hoon Panjab his hit song from his latest film, Amar Singh Chamkila. The song has become a rage all across and fans just couldn't enough of it and they joined the singer too.

Diljit who was seen in an all black t shirt and cargos with his black pag. He wrapped the National Flag around his shoulder while he performed.

Sharing the clip, he wrote, "Delhi Day 2 (heart hands emoji) ONE LOVE (folded hands emoji) DIL-LUMINATI TOUR Year 24 (lotus emoji)."


Actor Ayushmann Khurrana posted red heart and fire emojis.

Neeru Bajwa, who worked with him in Jatt & Juliet 3 recently, also commented on the post.

The singer regaled an approximately 40,000-strong crowd at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in two-hour set, which saw his perform to songs, including "5 Taara", "Do You Know", "GOAT", "Proper Patola", "Hass Hass", "Lemonade", "Kinni Kinni", "Naina", "Ikk Kudi", "Clash", "Lover", "Khutti", and "Patiala Peg".

The highly-anticipated concert his second consecutive one in the national capital, began at 7.44 pm with the singer appearing on the stage in a white dhoti-kurta, turban and Aviator shades.

He started the show with the chartbuster "Born to Shine".

During the performance of one of his songs titled "GOAT", Diljit called upon the stage a family dressed like him.

On Saturday, Diljit kicked off the India leg of his "Dil-Luminati Tour 2024" in New Delhi, months after entertaining admirers around the world in countries such as the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands.

The singer will now travel to nine other cities across the country, including Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, and Kolkata.

The grand finale of his India tour will be held in Guwahati on December 29. (with PTI inputs)
