Her performance as Goddess Parvathi in Bhagavanth Kesari, alongside Balakrishna, was one such shift, earning her both attention and curiosity about what she plans to do next.

According to industry chatter, Kajal currently has three to four projects under discussion. Most of them are said to be strong, character-driven roles instead of the usual commercial space she has earlier been seen in. People close to the development suggest that she is in no hurry to sign anything quickly. She wants her next outing to matter.
