The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 was filled with laughter and nostalgia as host Amitabh Bachchan shared a hilarious anecdote from his college days. While discussing the rise of youth-led start-ups, Big B humorously recalled his own version of "start-ups"—kick-starting borrowed scooters just to take a ride around the ladies' college.

Sharing his youthful adventures, Big B joked, “The age at which youngsters today are launching start-ups, I was also busy with start-ups... scooter ko kick maarne ki start-up.” He confessed that he didn’t own a scooter and had to rely on friends, often pleading with folded hands to borrow one for a short joyride.

“Scooter mil jaata tha par toota-phoota tha. 10-12 kick maarne ke baad chal jaata tha. Accelerator kharab hota tha, usme start-up kiya. Wire daba diya, kick maarta tha, muh se usko kheencha aur chal diye.” His witty storytelling had the audience in splits, and he even mentioned that he applied the same scooter technique in his film Roti, Kapda, Makaan.

The episode also featured contestant Manasi Medha, a 25-year-old from IIM Ahmedabad, originally from Bhagalpur, Bihar. Big B was highly impressed by her accomplishments, stating, “She has excelled in more than 250 things. Is there anything left for you to achieve?”

Manasi, humbled by the praise, responded, “Being here on KBC and meeting you has added another feather to my cap.” She also revealed her knowledge of multiple languages, including Japanese, Spanish, and sign language. Amused, Big B said, “I only know one word in Japanese—Arigato.”

For the ₹40,000 question—Which city, home to a Jyotirlinga, is located on the banks of the Shipra river?—Manasi used the audience poll lifeline. With their help, she correctly answered Option B: Ujjain, moving one step closer to her dream winnings.

As part of her introduction, a special video montage showcased Manasi giving a virtual tour of her IIM Ahmedabad campus. This moment struck a personal chord with Amitabh Bachchan, who shared, “Thanks to you, I now get to see what my granddaughter experiences. Yes, my poti Navya also studies here. Though she is doing it online, she has to visit the campus for one or two weeks.”

Manasi's journey continued with a tricky question:

Which of these books is not a part of the Inheritance Cycle tetralogy?

A. Eragon

B. Eldest

C. Brisingr

D. Prince Caspian

She carefully deduced the answer and locked in Option D. Big B, impressed yet slightly confused, admitted, “Whatever you said before locking the answer, I didn’t understand a word.”

Her Super Sawaal question was: Andy Jassy serves as the CEO of which company, headquartered in Seattle, US?

Manasi guessed IBM, but the correct answer was Amazon.

For the ₹1,60,000 question, she was asked:

Which institute conceptualized the new insignia of the Supreme Court of India, unveiled in 2024?

A. NIFT, Delhi

B. NID, Ahmedabad

C. Sir JJ School of Art, Mumbai

D. IGNOU, Delhi

Unsure of the answer, she decided not to risk it and chose to quit the game. Before leaving, she guessed Option B, but the correct answer was Option A.

Manasi walked away with ₹1,60,000, leaving with pride and an enriching experience, having won not just money but also the admiration of Big B and the audience.
