Amitabh Bachchan surely makes some savvy financial decisions. This time he has done so in the booming Mumbai real estate market. The actor reportedly finalised the sale of two high-end apartments in Goregaon East, raking in a profitable return of nearly 47% over 13 years.

In 2012, Big B had purchased two luxury flats at Oberoi Exquisite in Goregaon for a combined cost of Rs 8.12 crore. This year, he sold each unit for Rs 6 crore, earning a total of Rs 12 crore. The sales were registered on October 31 and November 1, 2025, in the names of buyers Asha Ishwar Shukla and Mamta Surajdev Shukla.

Each flat came with four dedicated parking spaces, an added perk in the bustling cityscape of Mumbai. The stamp duty and registration fees for the transactions amounted to Rs 30.3 lakh per sale.

This isn’t the first time Big B has made headlines for his real estate decisions. In January 2025, the superstar sold his expansive 5,185 sq ft duplex apartment at The Atlantis in Andheri for a staggering Rs 83 crore.
