Katrina Kaif recently shared that the secret to her stunning hair lies in a homemade hair oil created by her mother-in-law, Veena Kaushal.

The actress, who shares a warm and close relationship with Vicky Kaushal’s mom, often spends quality time with her and has made the oil a part of her beauty routine. This special bonding and the use of natural remedies have become an essential part of Katrina's self-care, contributing to her radiant look.

In an conversation with The Week, Katrina mentioned, "I’m equally passionate about skincare, because I have very sensitive skin. I enjoy fun routines, like the gua sha. I know I’m late to the party, but I’ve just started using it and it’s amazing. My mother-in-law also makes me this hair oil with onion, amla, avocado and two-three other ingredients. Home remedies are incredibly powerful too."

Katrina Kaif spoke about how supportive Vicky Kaushal is, mentioning that he never complains about bathroom counter space and is always understanding. She has also expressed her admiration for her in-laws in the past. During an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show in 2022, Katrina shared that her mother-in-law, Veena Kaushal, lovingly prepares sweet potatoes for her, keeping her diet in mind. "Initially Mummy ji used to urge me to have a lot to have parathas, and since I’m on a diet I couldn’t have them. So I used to just have a bite. And, now that we have almost completed a year of our marriage, mummy ji now prepares sweet potatoes for me. My in-laws call me Kitto with love." She had said.

Talking about Vicky’s family, she added, “The most important thing that happened is the way Vicky is with his family, Sunny, his mom and dad, is so incredible. At some point, even if you find certain things about the way he would be in the beginning of our relationship are little bit restrictive, the one thought that always occurred to me was –- if this is the kind of respect, loyalty and the importance he gives to his family, this is the same respect, importance he is going to give to his family when he is married."

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif got married in December 2021 in a private ceremony, keeping their relationship mostly out of the spotlight until then. Their wedding was a small, intimate event, attended only by their close family and friends.
