Kareena Kapoor questions Aditya Roy Kapur’s love life

During his appearance on What Women Want Season 5, Aditya Roy Kapur found himself in the hot seat when host Kareena Kapoor Khan asked a question on everyone’s mind: "Is he single or taken?" The actor, known for keeping his dating life under wraps, wasn’t quick to give a straightforward answer.

Rumours had been swirling about his past relationships, including a recent breakup with Ananya Panday earlier this year, as well as previous speculations about dating his Aashiqui 2 co-star Shraddha Kapoor.

Addressing the inquiry, Kareena Kapoor pointed out that Aditya rarely shares details about his personal life, making his relationship status a topic of intrigue. "A lot of women want to know about your relationship status," she remarked.

In response, Aditya jokingly asked, "Is chilling a status?" to which Kareena replied, "You are always chilling, Adi." He quipped, "I'm a chiller." When she labelled him a "chhupa rustam" for being secretive about dating, the Metro In Dino star laughed and said, "Good, let it be a mystery."

Kareena Kapoor continued to press, asking if Aditya was commitment-phobic. The actor swiftly dismissed the notion, explaining that he’s had "many relationships" in his "aged" life. He elaborated, "I can't say I am commitment-phobic because I have had long relationships when I was younger, through my 20s. Relationships that would last five or three years. So no, I am not commitment-phobic. But you have to be compelled to get into something with someone and feel like wanting it. You shouldn’t get into it because you don’t like being on your own. If you are feeling lonely, that’s not a reason."

As the conversation flowed, Kareena switched gears, asking Aditya what qualities he finds appealing in a woman. "Sense of humour, being honest, someone who speaks their mind is an attractive thing, and being passionate about something that they’re doing," he shared.

Despite Kareena Kapoor’s attempts to unearth some scoop about his dating life, Aditya managed to keep the mystery alive, leaving fans with more questions than answers. The actor’s charm and quick wit shined through as he skillfully dodged giving away any definitive information about his relationship status.
