On Saturday, actor Jaaved Jaaferi announced that his X account had been compromised. Taking to Instagram, he informed his followers about the security breach, urging them to report the issue to the microblogging platform.
Jaaferi also shared a series of screenshots as proof, highlighting how he had been locked out of his account and was unable to access it. His post served as both a warning and a request for support from fans in addressing the hack.
His post read, "So my X account (@jaavedjaaferi) has been hacked. I sincerely request those that are following me on Twitter to complain to X about. Saada Hack… Aetthe Rakh!! Thank you (sic)” he wrote, in an apparent reference to the popular song Sadda Haq from Imtiaz Ali's film Rockstar.
Recently, singer Shreya Ghoshal and actor Swara Bhasker’s X accounts were also hacked and restored later. Shreya then later shared that she has recovered her X account back after almost 2 months of being hacked.

She further warned her fans about misleading advertisements making the rounds online. These ads, she said, feature strange headlines and AI-generated images that falsely associate her with them. She urged everyone to stay vigilant and not fall for such deceptive content.
Jaaferi’s latest film release was Inn Galiyon Mein, directed by Avinash Das . He will next be seen in Dhamaal 4.
