Ajith Kumar’s action comedy Good Bad Ugly is making waves at the box office. The film has collected between ₹83 to ₹85 crore in India just in four days by showing strong performance over the weekend. Although its Sunday earnings didn’t exceed its opening day, the film’s popularity is undeniable as it is quickly heading toward ₹150 crore globally.

The movie has now become the second highest grossing Tamil film of 2025. It has beaten the lifetime collection of Ajith Kumar’s previous release Vidaamuyarchi which earned ₹81.58 crore in India. What makes this achievement more impressive is that Good Bad Ugly crossed Vidaamuyarchi’s total in just one extended weekend.

Early reports suggest that Good Bad Ugly earned between ₹19 and ₹19.5 crore on its fourth day that is on Sunday. This is slightly below Saturday’s ₹19.75 crore but still a strong number that helped maintain its momentum.

Ajith Kumar’s latest release has also broken four major records within its first 96 hours. First it recorded the biggest first week for a Tamil film in 2025 by collecting more than Vidaamuyarchi’s ₹73.21 crore first-week total within the opening weekend itself.

Secondly film beat the lifetime earnings of the most profitable Tamil movie of the year so far Madha Gaja Raja which had collected ₹48.70 crore. This shows that Good Bad Ugly is not only doing well but is also outperforming other popular releases in terms of profit.

Ajith Kumar now holds two of the top three spots among the highest grossing Tamil films of 2025. Vidaamuyarchi sits at number three with ₹81.58 crore while Good Bad Ugly currently holds the number two spot with over ₹83 crore. The only film ahead is Dragon with ₹102.46 crore but Good Bad Ugly is quickly closing that gap.

On a global scale, Ajith Kumar has entered the ₹250 crore club. Together Good Bad Ugly and Vidaamuyarchi have crossed ₹250 crore in total worldwide collections, with Good Bad Ugly contributing nearly ₹125 crore so far and Vidaamuyarchi adding ₹136.41 crore.

It’s clear that Good Bad Ugly has struck a chord with audiences. With strong word of mouth and Ajith Kumar’s star power, the film may continue to grow at the box office and possibly claim the top spot in the days to come.
