From Narsimha to Kalki: Hombale films launches India's first mythological animation Mahavatar universe

The spiritual epic of a generation has begun! Hombale Films, in association with Kleem Productions, has unveiled the official roadmap for the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe — an ambitious, decade-spanning animated franchise that will chronicle the ten divine avatars of Lord Vishnu. The journey begins with Mahavatar Narsimha, set for a grand release on July 25, 2025, and will culminate with Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 in 2037.

Directed by Ashwin Kumar, the Mahavatar films promise to blend mythology with modern storytelling on a visual scale never before seen in Indian animation. “The transcendental experience begins now,” said Kumar. “Through the Mahavatar universe, Bharat will roar again!”

Producer Shilpaa Dhawan shared her excitement: “The possibilities are ENDLESS, and I’m PUMPED to see our stories ROAR to life on screen! Buckle up for an EPIC cinematic ride!”

A spokesperson from Hombale Films added, “With Mahavatar, we’re not just making movies — we’re paying tribute to India’s spiritual legacy. This cinematic universe is our offering to timeless storytelling and culture.”

Mahavatar Narsimha will be released in 3D and in five Indian languages, promising unmatched visual grandeur and storytelling depth. The roar begins July 25, 2025 — the beginning of a mythic saga like never before.
