Bollywood producer Ekta Kapoor shared a video collage of some happy pictures on the occasion of her father and veteran actor Jeetendra's birthday. Jeetendra turns 82 today (April 7).

Ekta, who has a production house Balaji Motion Pictures, is riding high on the success of her recent release Crew.

Ekta Kapoor shared some beautiful pictures with her father, mother Shobha Kapoor, brother Tusshar, nephew Lakshay and her son Ravie.

Sharing the pictures from the celebrations in the past and the ones with family and friends, Ekta Kapoor wrote: "Happie bday papa !!! UR my biggest BLESSING !!! JAI MATA DI ! Have a long happy life with good health n good peace of mind !!!! We all@love u d most"

In the video which has the song "Musafir Hoon Yaron" from Jeetendra's old film Parichay being played in the background, Ekta shared some adorable videos of her father Jeetendra playing with his grandchildren Lakshya and Ravie. One can also see Sakshi Tanwar, who is a family friend of Ekta, in the video.

Ekta Kapoor shares a close bond with her family, she likes to share pics with her family or her son.

TV actors Shubhaavi, Akshay Dogra, Kanchi Kaul wished Jeetendra a happy birthday.

Ekta Kapoor's best friend and Union Minister Smriti Irani also wished him on her birthday. She wrote: "Birthday greetings"

Jeetendra, who has worked in hundreds of films over the years, was honoured with Padma Shri in 2020 for his work in the field of arts. He has two children, elder daughter Ekta Kapoor and son Tusshar Kapoor, who is an actor.

Ekta Kapoor was among 55 personalities who were welcomed by The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences as their member.

In November 2023, Ekta Kapoor was also honoured with the Doctorate award at the International Emmy Awards.
