Ed Sheeran stops his concert midway to help a fainting fan, ends show in team India jersey; watch video

Ed Sheeran's India Mathematics Tour concluded with a Gurgaon concert on February 15. During the show at Leisure Valley Park, Sheeran paused his performance to address a fan who had fainted.

Ed Sheeran wrapped up the India leg of his Mathematics Tour with an exciting concert in Gurgaon's Leisure Valley Park on February 15. During the show, he paused his performance when he noticed that one of his fans had fainted.

Ed Sheeran immediately called for help and asked the audience to make space so the authorities could assist the fan. This thoughtful act showed how much he cared about his fans’ well-being. After the fan was safely helped, Ed resumed his performance of his hit song "Happier," and the crowd cheered in support.

Apart from this, Ed Sheeran also showed his love for Indian cricket by wearing a Team India Dream 11 jersey for the final three songs of his performance. Before that, he had been wearing a black t-shirt with "Delhi" written on it. His gesture was a show of support for the Indian cricket team as they prepared for the Champions Trophy 2025 in the UAE.

Throughout the concert, Ed performed a mix of his popular songs. He sang "Take It Back/Superstition/Ain't No Sunshine" mashup, "Shivers," "I’m a Mess," "Photograph," "Happier," and "Love Yourself," a song he had written for Justin Bieber. One of the highlights was when Ed sang "Perfect," and the entire audience joined in, creating an unforgettable moment of excitement and unity.

After switching into the Team India jersey, he continued with his performance, singing "You Need Me, I Don’t Need You," "Shape of You," and finally closing the show with "Bad Habits." The crowd remained energetic and excited throughout, enjoying every moment of the concert.

Before finishing his set, Ed Sheeran shared how magical his time in India had been, thanking the audience for their warm welcome. He promised to return soon, saying, "The last three weeks in India have been magical. I’ve learned a lot. Thank you for welcoming me and hopefully I will come back soon!"

Ed Sheeran performed in six different cities during his Indian tour, including Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Shillong. This was his first performance in Delhi-NCR, marking a special moment for both him and his fans. His tour was produced by AEG Presents Asia and BookMyShow Live, making it an unforgettable experience for his Indian fans.
