Diljit Dosanjh reveals origin of ‘Dil-Luminati' tour, teases new album

Diljit Dosanjh has recently received a grand welcome at Apple Music Studio as he met New Zealand DJ, Zane Lowe. The singer shared glimses from his visit to the studio.

Singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has recently visited Apple Music Studio and recorded a podcast with New Zealand DJ, Zane Lowe. Dilijit shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures with Zane on his social media.

Diljit captioned his Instagram post, “Feel Blessed to Connect with @zanelowe Love @applemusic Thanks for Having Me…” He further teased that a new album and a tour are on the way. He wrote, “AURA ALBUM & TOUR Coming SOON.”

The album will be released this September. In the photos, Diljit is seen smiling and posing with Zane inside the studio as they recorded their upcoming project. He sported an all-black co-ord set and completed his look with a red turban and a silver necklace.

Meanwhile, the official social media handle of Apple Music has teased the upcoming episode of the podcast interview. In the video, Diljit talked about Illuminati and said, “When I was in New Zealand last year, I did this, that's a flow, that's called Chakra, it's like Crown Chakra, and somebody said, you're Illuminati. That was teasing me. Somebody said, you Illuminati, Illuminati.”

He added, “I didn't know about what is Illuminati shit. So that's why I told my name Diluminati. That's amazing.” He added, “That's where it came from. Let's do this.”

The video was captioned, “The Dil-Luminati are real. @diljitdosanjh reveals the origins of his tour name to @zanelowe during his artist takeover. If you want to do this, let's do it.

The singer received an overwhelming welcome at the studio, and the video of the moment is going viral on social media. He was notably greeted with the traditional “Saron Da Tel” ceremony.



For the unversed, the traditional “Saron Da Tel” ceremony is a gesture that is deeply rooted in the Punjabi culture. The singer admitted in the video that he was feeling emotional about the grand welcome.
