The 13th edition of Comic Con India is all set to kick off in Hyderabad from 31 October, promising three days of unmatched celebration for fans of comics, films, anime, gaming, and everything in between.
Running until 2 November, the event will bring together some of the biggest names in global and Indian pop culture, offering a packed schedule of entertainment, fandom experiences, and exclusive showcases.
Every year, Comic Con India acts as a unifying force for fandoms across the country, creating a vibrant space where lovers of diverse genres can come together. The Hyderabad leg of the 2025–2026 season will feature a rich mix of attractions — from high-profile international guests and top-tier stand-up comedy acts to live music performances and immersive fan zones.
Cosplay will once again take centre stage, with some of India’s most talented creators showcasing elaborate costumes inspired by beloved characters.
“Hyderabad has rapidly evolved into one of India’s most dynamic cultural and creative hubs. With its booming tech industry, a young and enthusiastic fanbase, and a growing appetite for global pop culture, the city is the perfect launchpad for Comic Con India’s grand 2025–2026 season. We hope to see massive engagement in Hyderabad as we kick start our biggest season yet,” said Shefali Johnson, CEO of Comic Con India.
Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming, echoed the sentiment, highlighting the calibre of the line-up. “We are bringing the best line-up of celebrities and guests to each city. We are also creating deeper, more immersive experiences for fans across India. From global pop culture icons to India’s most passionate cosplay community, from thrilling esports battles to exclusive panels and launches, Comic Con India 2025–2026 will truly be a celebration of everything that falls under the pop culture they love,” he said.

Last year’s Hyderabad Comic Con 2024 smashed records with over 40,000 attendees, setting a new benchmark for the event in the city. Organisers are expecting an even bigger turnout this year, buoyed by the scale of programming and the growing popularity of pop culture in India.
The 2025 event will feature cosplay competitions judged by industry veterans, live music performances spanning multiple genres, and exclusive meet-and-greet sessions with leading Indian content creators. Attendees will also have access to limited-edition merchandise, sneak peeks of upcoming films and games, and panel discussions with artists, writers, and industry professionals.
With Hyderabad serving as the starting point for Comic Con India’s most ambitious season yet, the city is poised to host a weekend of spectacle, creativity, and community that fans will not want to miss.
