Cardi B made quite the impact at Paris Couture Week, turning heads not only with her dramatic fashion but also with her surprising and compassionate accessory—a live crow.

The rapper demonstrated her love of animals and her talent for theatrics when she was spotted politely requesting that photographers soften their voices so as not to startle the bird that was sitting peacefully on her gloved hand.

The dramatic incident happened outside the Schiaparelli Fall/Winter 2025 show, where Cardi showed up wearing a structured pearl headpiece and a black gown with flowing fringe. She added her own twist with the live crow and fully embraced the couture sensibility, which was complemented by sleek side-parted hair and oversized pearl earrings.

Karlie Kloss debuted the ensemble on the runway earlier this year, but Cardi's unique touch gave it a memorable makeover.

Daniel Roseberry, creative director of Schiaparelli's Fall 2025 couture collection, drew inspiration for her ensemble from Elsa Schiaparelli's 1940 flight from Nazi-occupied Paris. Cardi's daring fashion choices reflected the collection's exploration of themes of tension, surrealism, and reinvention.

Later that day, Cardi changed up her style with yet another striking appearance. This time, she wore a deep burgundy gown designed by Rahul Mishra, which was adorned with large floral appliqués and rhinestones. In addition to showcasing her clothing line, this dual-style statement was a subliminal hint at her upcoming album *Am I the Drama*, which is scheduled for release on September 19.

Cardi is surrounded by raven-like birds in the album's cover image, and a teaser video based on Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" shows her being pursued by a threatening flock. Cardi quickly clarified, though, that her crow companion during couture week was nothing but friendly.

As the bird flapped and called out on opening day, it became clear that for Cardi B—and for Schiaparelli—fashion isn’t just about what you wear, it’s about the moment you create.
