BTS' Jin recently made a nostalgic return to his alma mater, Posung High School, for an episode of his variety show RUN JIN. The visit, filmed on July 8, saw Jin donning his old school uniform and engaging with students, which was a memorable experience for both him and the attendees.
As he walked through the school corridors, Jin was met with enthusiastic cheers, particularly from male students who were excited to see the star in person. The crowd eagerly shouted his name and admired his appearance, but Jin maintained his usual calm demeanor, handling the attention with grace.
In the second episode of RUN JIN, viewers got to see Jin interacting with students and participating in various activities. His presence brought a wave of excitement to the school, and his autograph, displayed alongside the school's motto in front of Class 1-6, became a symbol of inspiration for the students. The motto was updated to include Jin’s autograph with the phrase, "May you be blessed!"

24-Hour TV is a significant charity event in Japan, featuring a variety of celebrity appearances, special dramas, and fundraising activities. This year’s broadcast faced the added challenge of Typhoon Shanshan, one of the most severe typhoons in recent Japanese history.
In his segment, Jin collaborated with Arashi member Masaki Aiba to bathe and groom rescue dogs, a task that highlighted Jin’s gentle and caring nature. Filmed in South Korea, the heartwarming activity showcased Jin’s love for animals and resonated deeply with viewers, further endearing him to the audience.
Jin debuted as a K-pop idol with BTS in 2013, alongside RM, J-Hope, SUGA, V, Jungkook, and Jimin. He launched his official solo career with the single The Astronaut in 2022 and is currently working on his first solo album. Meanwhile, the other BTS members are serving in the South Korean Army, with expected discharge around 2025.
