F1 became the 19th Hollywood film to cross the century mark in India.

Brad Pitt’s sports drama, F1: The Movie, has emerged as a massive blockbuster at the box office, achieving remarkable success not only globally but also in India. The film has performed exceptionally well across domestic and international markets alike.

Notably, the movie has already crossed the $ 600 million mark worldwide, a significant milestone for both Brad Pitt and Apple Studios.

In India, F1 has continued its impressive run, recently reaching a new landmark by surpassing the Rs 100 crore net mark at the Indian box office. This milestone was achieved over a 65-day theatrical run, with the film still attracting steady audiences.

By accomplishing this feat, F1 became the 19th Hollywood film to cross the century mark in India. When accounting for 3D charges, the film secures the 15th position.

According to Pinkvilla, the film grossed a record Rs 3.25 crore during its ninth week in India, bringing its cumulative total to Rs 122 crore.

Furthermore, it is the second Hollywood film of 2025 to enter this elite club, following Scarlett Johansson-led sci-fi thriller Jurassic World: Rebirth. F1: The Movie, marketed as F1 the Movie, is a 2025 American sports drama directed by Joseph Kosinski with a screenplay by Ehren Kruger.

Such a response is unprecedented for a Brad Pitt movie in India, making F1 the first of his films to reach the Rs 100 crore milestone at the Indian box office. Adding to its achievements, F1 set a record in its ninth week in India, an impressive feat given that most films nowadays opt for quick OTT releases after experiencing steep drops in the first two weeks.

The film stars Brad Pitt as Formula One racing driver Sonny Hayes, who returns after a 30-year absence to save his former teammate’s underdog team, APXGP, from collapse.

The movie also features Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Javier Bardem in pivotal supporting roles, contributing to the film’s critical and commercial acclaim.
