Bollywood actor Salman Khan has recently taken a brief hiatus after he completed the first schedule of filming Battle of Galwan in Ladakh. Now the actor is gearing up to return to the set for the second schedule of the upcoming war drama.
Salman will soon resume the second and final leg of the shoot of the Battle of Galwan in Mumbai from October 10, 2025.
According to Hindustan Times, a source close to the production said, “After wrapping up the first schedule of the film, Salman along with his battalion of actors will resume the second schedule of the film in Mumbai from October 10, 2025 onwards and is expected to end by November.”
The source further revealed that the female lead, Chitrangada Singh, will also be a part of the second schedule. The source also shared that the recce has been done but the exact locations are still under wraps.
Salman wrapped up a 45-day, start-to-finish filming session in Leh, Ladakh, in September. The actor had previously admitted that the Ladakh shoot was extensive, and he had also suffered injuries during the filming.
With actor Ankur Bhatia and director Apoorva Lakhia posting behind-the-scenes updates on social media, the Ladakh schedule provided a peek into the production process.

Salman Khan plays an army officer in Battle of Galwan, which is characterised as a large-scale production. The movie shows the 2020 Indian-Chinese conflict in the Galwan Valley, a rare border skirmish fought without guns in which soldiers used sticks and stones to fight closely.
Through a motion poster featuring him in one of his most intense avatars to date, Salman gave fans a terrifying preview of Battle of Galwan in July. The movie's release date is still unknown, but the producers should make an announcement shortly.
