Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana and wife Tahira Kashyap welcomed Ganapati Bappa at home on Ganesh Chaturthi. Tahira crafted the idol of Ganesha by herself and previously shared a glimpse of the preparation on social media.
Tahira also revealed that Ayushmann was not at home during the preparations, and she misses him. However, Ayushmann has now joined his family for the festivity and shared pics from the celebrations.
Ayushmann took to his Instagram and shared a series of photos from the celebration. Alongside the pics, the actor simply penned in the caption, “Jai Ganesh [a red heart emoji].”
The post featured a photo of Ayushmann and Tahira performing Puja. They also gave a close-up glimpse of the Ganesha Idol made by Tahira. The other photos showed Tahira and Ayushmann posing for the photoshoot.
For the festivity, the couple opted for a traditional look. Ayushmann looked dapper in a blue printed kurta. Tahira looked equally elegant in an embellished yellow and red contrast Sharara set.
Ayushmann’s latest post came after a video from his upcoming film, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, went viral on social media. The actor with Sara Ali Khan was shooting in Prayagraj, where things got a bit messy.
A physical altercation broke out between the film’s crew and the locals during the shoot. The video showed three men attacking a crew member.
While most of the details about the film have been kept under wraps, the reports have suggested that Wamiqa Gabbi and Rakul Preet Singh are also a part of the film.
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is a spiritual sequel to Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019), which featured Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday in the lead. The 2019 film was a remake of the 1978 film of the same name.
Ayushmann is also gearing up for his upcoming film, Thama.
