Allu Arjun and Basil Joseph have collaborated for a new project

South superstar Allu Arjun is riding high on the success of his blockbuster film, Pushpa 2: The Rule. Fans are eagerly waiting for the actor’s next projects, and it seems like he has finally given a nod to a Malayalam movie.

Arjun is speculated to be on board for the Malayalam filmmaker Basil Joseph, best known for the hit superhero film Minnal Murali, directorial project. The reports about the duo’s collaboration are swirling around social media, creating a buzz among the fans.

According to 123Telugu, Allu Arjun has signed a new film with Mollywood actor-filmmaker Basil Joseph. The upcoming project is reported to be backed by Geetha Arts. Additionally, the reports suggested that the pre-production of the film has already started, and fans could expect an official announcement soon.

The speculations about the potential collaboration between Allu Arjun and Basil Joseph first sparked during mid-February after reports suggested that the filmmaker reportedly narrated an intriguing story to the actor.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun and Basil Joseph are yet to officially address the reports.

However, the actor has a few more exciting projects in his pipeline. The reports have suggested that the Telugu star has signed a movie with Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga last year.

The recent reports revealed that the actor has reportedly been replaced in Vanga's upcoming film with Jr NTR. Interestingly, the filmmaker has also recently replaced Deepika Padukone in Spirit.

Allu Arjun will now star alongside Deepika in Atlee’s next film, which is tentatively titled AA22xA6. The actor’s team has confirmed that he'll play dual roles in the film, not part of a two-hero storyline, as earlier speculated. The movie is slated to start production in mid-2025 and release in 2026.
