Alia was earlier spotted by the paparazzi in Mumbai airport in the wee hours of Friday as she was leaving for Cannes. The actress is reported set to attend the closing ceremony of the prestigious film festival on May 24.

Alia Bhatt chose to look effortlessly elegant at the airport before making her big Cannes debut. She layered a striking mustard Gucci blazer over a classic white tank top and denim jeans. She accessorised with delicate golden earrings and sleek black sunglasses.

Alia looked effortlessly sophisticated in white trainers and straight, well-groomed hair. As the brand ambassador for L'Oréal Paris, she is prepared to make her debut at the esteemed occasion.

Recently, Janhavi Kapoor also made her stunning debut at the Cannes red carpet as she attended the screening of Homebound alongside Karan Johar, Neeraj Ghaywan, Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa.
