Shoaib Ibrahim shares wife Dipika Kakar's health update after 'tennis ball-sized' tumor is found in her liver, surgery will happen next week 

Shoaib Ibrahim shares health update of wife Dipika Kakkar

Recently, well-known TV personality Shoaib Ibrahim posted health update on social media regarding his wife, actress Dipika Kakar, who is presently receiving treatment at Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital as it was earlier announced by the Sasural Simar Kaa actor she has found 'tennis ball-sized' tumor in her liver.

Shoaib explained that their previous visit to the hospital had been for routine tests, but things took a serious turn shortly after they returned home.

“Deepika hospital main admit hai lekin bhi tak surgery nhi hui hai kyunki jab hum last Kokila Ben aaye the, jab maine last video banaya tha aur aap sab se kaha tha ki al jaana hai vaha pr kuch tests krne hai toh vaha pr kuch tests hue aur uss din jaise hee hum ghar pahunche uss baad deipika ne suddenly Ruhan ko ween off krna shuru kia, doodh usko dena band krna shuru kia and ussi waqt se usko itna zyada pain hone laga aur swelling se usko fever hogya aur voh fever uska kab flu main convert hogya, dard hogya, bhot zyada uski tabiyat kharabb hogyi thi, pale bht thi plus fever bhot tha ["Deepika is admitted to the hospital, but the surgery hasn’t happened yet. When we last went to Kokilaben Hospital — I mentioned in my last video that we had to go there for some tests — a few tests were done. The same day, after we returned home, Deepika suddenly started weaning Ruhan off — she stopped giving him milk. From that moment, she started experiencing a lot of pain, and due to the swelling, she developed a fever. That fever later turned into flu, and she was in a lot of pain. Her condition worsened significantly — she had become very pale and had a high fever]"

He went on to recall how things escalated after a consultation with a liver specialist:

“Mujhe yaad hai Friday ko hum yahan hospital aaye the, jo maine kaha tha ki liver surgeon se milne doctor se and uske baad Friday shaam se hee usko fever aur start hua. Friday ko fever aya but voh normal tha aur Saturday ko voh theek thi but Friday shaam ko usko bhot zyaada usko fever aagya and itna tha ki 103.9 tha poori raat, hum sab log bhot zyada ghabra gaye the, raat bhar uske maathe pe pairo par patti rakhna kyunki fever kamm hee nhi hora tha, Dolo bhi li, kuch der baar combilame bhi lia taaki pain kam hojaaye usse bhi farak nhi pada lekin subha 5-6 bje ke aas paaas fever thoda sa down hua koi yeh sab shuru hua raat ko 1 bje ke aas paas uske baad usne 1-2 ghnate ki neend li and phir 9 bje tk usko fever chadna shuru hogya toh fir main ussko le ayya yahan kokila ben main hee hai abhi toh Sunday morning se humlog yahan pr hai [I remember we came to the hospital on Friday — as I had mentioned, we had to meet the liver surgeon. After that, from Friday evening itself, her fever started. On Friday, she had a mild fever, and by Saturday, she seemed fine. But by Friday evening, her fever shot up badly — it went up to 103.9°F and lasted the entire night. All of us got really scared. We kept cold compresses on her forehead and feet the whole night because the fever just wouldn’t go down. She took Dolo, and after some time, even took Combliflam to reduce the pain, but nothing worked. Around 5–6 in the morning, the fever finally went down a bit. All this started around 1 am, and after that, she managed to get 1–2 hours of sleep. But by around 9 am, the fever started rising again. That’s when I brought her back here — she’s still at Kokilaben Hospital. We’ve been here since Sunday morning]"

Speaking about how their son Ruhaan is coping with the situation, Shoaib added:

“Ruhaan bhi set hai beech beech main voh kabhi kabhi krta hai but ab voh samajh gya hai ki okay, mumma hai, mumma lete hai , mumma sori hai toh vo nahi pareshaan krta ["Ruhaan is also settled now. Sometimes he does act up a little, but he has understood that okay, mumma is here, mumma is lying down, mumma is unwell, so he doesn’t trouble her]"

Apologising for the delay in keeping fans informed, Shoaib expressed his gratitude:

“Beech main mujhe waqt nhi milla update dene ka kabhi kabhi waqt milla toh iss zone main the iss mode main the ki shoot krne ka mann nhi krta tha, I am sorry mujhe pta hai aap log bhot dua krre hai, bhot zyada pray krre hai , harr ek insaan apne apne tareeke se, apne apne belief se krra hai , bhot bhot shukriyua, thankyou so much. Aap Sabhi Ka bhot bhot shukriya [In between, I didn’t get the time to give any updates. And even when I did get time, we were in such a zone, such a mode, that I didn’t feel like shooting anything. I’m sorry. I know you all are praying a lot, everyone in their own way, in their own belief. Thank you very, very much. Thank you so much to all of you]"

The couple continues to receive overwhelming support from fans and well-wishers, all hoping for Dipika’s swift and complete recovery.
