On June 29 and 30, aespa, the popular K-Pop girl group, launched their highly anticipated SYNK: PARALLEL LINE live tour with two spectacular concerts at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul. This tour, which will run until late September, is set to take aespa across various Asian countries including Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and more, as well as Australia. The initial concerts demonstrated the group's immense talent and stage presence, delighting many of the fans who attended.

However, despite the overwhelming excitement, some fans voiced their dissatisfaction with certain aspects of the concert experience. One major issue that arose was the obstruction of views for fans who had purchased expensive floor tickets. Given the high demand and cost of these tickets, fans expected an unobstructed view of the stage. Unfortunately, staff members taking pictures and videos of the aespa members frequently blocked the view for many attendees.

Numerous complaints surfaced online, with fans expressing their frustration about the situation. Some staff members were even seen using ladders to capture footage, further obstructing the view for those seated on the floor. This led to a heated discussion among netizens about the fairness of selling tickets for seats with obstructed views.

Comments from Korean netizens included, “It’s not an SM concert, it’s an aespa concert, isn’t it??” “But usually, the concert guide says that certain areas may be obstructed for various reasons, such as photography, lighting, speakers, etc., but there was no warning notice here.”

“I’ve been following them all the way to overseas cons, but this is the first time I’ve seen a film crew carrying a ladder and obstructing the fans’ view… Are they crazy?” complained a fan. “If the view is obstructed to that extent, you shouldn’t sell seats, and the person who is taking that picture should be taking as little as possible to avoid obstructing the view,” expressed another.

“Usually, the filming staff bend down for fear of obstructing the view, take a few pictures quickly, and then get back down; to even use a ladder like that, to take them all in one place, I think you should get a refund for that,” said another enraged fan.
