BTS member J-Hope has once again touched the hearts of his fans by revealing the deeply personal meaning behind his new tattoos. During a recent live session on Weverse, the rapper and dancer, also known as Hobi, opened up about why he chose to ink the words “I’m Your Hope” on his leg and the story has left ARMYs emotional.

The idol explained that this decision was not sudden but something he had been contemplating for a long time.

“I got a tattoo on my leg. There were quite a few people who were surprised, I think. But, actually, I’ve kind of been thinking about it for a long time. With my own two feet, the life I’ve walked for over thirty years in that life, I wanted to record meaningful words and those important moments on my legs, and that became a big reason,” J-Hope said.

The phrase “I’m your hope, you are my hope” has been his signature introduction to fans for years, and J-Hope emphasized its significance in his journey. “In that sense, the words ‘I am your hope, you are my hope’ are meaningful to me and to all of you as well, they’re very meaningful words. So by writing that on my legs that carry me, I thought I could gain another sense of motivation, so I ended up getting the tattoo,” he added.
