The production of this new SUV has already started.
Hyundai Motor India will now launch the second-generation Venue compact SUV on November 4, instead of October 24 as earlier reported. The shift in schedule comes amid final preparations for the new model, which marks one of the brand's most important product updates in 2025. The company is expected to introduce major design, feature and technology upgrades to strengthen the Venue's position in the highly competitive sub-4 metre SUV segment.
Importance of Venue for Hyundai
Initially launched in India in 2019, the Venue is among the major volume drivers for Hyundai here. For reference, it garnered handsome sales of 1,19,113 units in FY25. More recently, the Venue clocked
20-month high sales of 11,484 units in September 2025.
Exterior and Design Changes
The second-generation Venue is expected to carry an all-new design language inspired by Hyundai's global SUV portfolio. Spy shots and leaked images indicate a bold, upright stance featuring a larger parametric grille, vertically stacked split LED headlamps, and C-shaped daytime running lamps integrated into the bumper. The SUV is also expected to feature redesigned alloy wheels, wider wheel arches, and connected LED tail lamps extending across the rear. These updates will bring the Venue's styling closer to that of the popular Creta and the flagship Tucson.

Interior and Features
Inside, the new Venue is likely to receive a dual 10.25-inch screen setup, one for the infotainment unit and another for the digital instrument cluster. We also expect a completely reworked dashboard, enhanced material quality, ambient lighting, and wireless connectivity features. The feature list is expected to include ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree surround camera, front parking sensors, and a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite with functions such as forward collision warning, lane keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control.

In terms of material quality and overall cabin fit and finish, the Venue has always stood out. You can compare it with any car in the segment, and the Venue will not disappoint you. We expect Hyundai to further improve the offerings in the new-generation model.
Powertrains
Hyundai is expected to
retain the current set of engines for the new Venue. These include the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol (83PS and 113.8Nm), 1.0-litre turbo petrol (120PS and 172Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel (116PS and 250Nm) units, paired with either 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT or 7-speed DCT options. While the powertrains may not change, Hyundai could tweak the engines for improved refinement and fuel efficiency. Prices are expected to start slightly higher than the current Venue’s entry price of around Rs 7.26 lakh (ex-showroom).
New Hyundai Venue Price
The Venue was earlier priced between Rs 7,94,100 and Rs 13,52,600 (ex-showroom). However, with the GST rate rationalisation, its price dropped in the range of Rs 7,26,381 to Rs 12,18,362 (ex-showroom). The new model is expected to be priced higher with the addition of all the premium features.
Competitive Context
The Venue continues to be a key product for Hyundai, contributing significantly to the overall sales. With the updated model, Hyundai aims to reinforce its market position against rivals such as the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet,
Mahindra XUV 3XO and Skoda Kylaq.
Hyundai has started manufacturing the new Venue at its Talegoan plant. The facility has commenced vehicle production operations with an annual installed capacity of 1,70,000 units.
