Anirudh Ravichander, Kavya Maran's dating rumours resurface after their New York sighting

The rumoured romance between music director Anirudh Ravichander and Sun TV heiress Kavya Maran is back in headlines.

Earlier this year, social media was abuzz with reports that the two were dating, until Anirudh himself denied all the speculations.

But despite his clarification, fans continue to link the duo and the latest viral video from New York has added fresh fuel to the fire.

A UK-based travel vlogger posted a vlog featuring candid footage of Anirudh and Kavya casually walking together on the streets of New York. The video has now been taken off air but the screenshots have been taken.

The video also shows the rumoured couple with a friend of theirs. Though the clip is just a few seconds long, it spread rapidly across X (former Twitter), Instagram and fan pages, sparking renewed speculation about their equation.

Many netizens havewondered whether the two are just close friends or if there is something brewing between them.

The surprise sighting has now led to widespread chatter, with fans waiting to see whether Anirudh will address the rumours again.

The composer had earlier taken to social media to firmly refute reports of dating Kavya, emphasising that the gossip was baseless.

Anirudh’s long-standing professional association with the Sun TV network has also contributed to the speculation. He has composed music for many of the production house’s recent blockbuster films, and insiders have often spoken about the strong rapport he shares with the organisation.

There were reports that Anirudh had composed the anthem for Kavya Maran’s IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad, but deliberately chose not to take any credit for the composition.

Neither Anirudh nor Kavya has responded to the New York video so far.
