Mahindra launches XUV700 variant AX5 Select at a starting price of Rs 16.89 lakh

According to the company, the new AX5 Select variant will come with a Skyroof, dual 26.03cm HD Superscreen, Push-Button Start/Stop, and a roomy 7-seater configuration.

Mahindra & Mahindra on May 22 announced the launch of a new variant of XUV700, AX5 Select, with prices starting at Rs 16.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

Through the new variant, the company aims to offer premium features at an attractive price and "make luxury more accessible", the automotive company said in a statement.

The AX5 Select will come with a skyroof, dual 26.03cm HD superscreen, push-button start/stop and a seven-seater configuration. “These features, typically associated with higher-end models, make the AX5 Select an excellent choice for customers looking for luxury at a more affordable price point,” the company said.

Earlier, the company launched the 7-seater MX variant along with the limited Blaze edition on the AX7L trim featuring a Blaze Red color, dual-tone black exterior elements, and an all-black interior with red accents, delivering a bold and unique look.

M&M also said it increased the production capacity to cut down the waiting period, “typically within four to eight weeks depending on the variant”.
