Nissan Motor India has extended the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate rationalisation benefit on its volume driver in the country, the Magnite, to the prospective buyers.
The price drop on the Magnite is up to Rs 1,00,400. The CNG retrofitment kit for the compact SUV has become cheaper by nearly Rs 3,000 at Rs 71,999.
While the Nissan Magnite price was earlier in the range of Rs 6.14 lakh to Rs 11.76 lakh (ex-showroom), it has now dropped to the Rs 5.62 lakh-Rs 10.76 lakh (ex-showroom) range.
In terms of size, the Magnite is now one of the largest cars in the sub-Rs 6 lakh category. You either get micro-SUVs or entry-level hatchbacks under Rs 6 lakh in India.
The Magnite range has two engine options -- 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol (72PS and 96Nm) and 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (100PS and 160Nm). The transmission options will include 5-speed MT and AMT with the naturally aspirated unit, and 5-speed MT and CVT with the turbo-petrol unit.
The following are the new Nissan Magnite prices (ex-showroom).
