Bridgestone named exclusive tyre partner for this limited-edition Italian supercar brand

The Lamborghini Fenomeno will use Potenza Sport ultra-high performance tyres from Bridgestone.

Bridgestone has been chosen as the exclusive tyre partner for the limited-edition Lamborghini Fenomeno, the Italian brand's most powerful V12 supercar to date. The Fenomeno, built to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Lamborghini's in-house design department, will see only 29 units produced globally.

The Fenomeno is equipped with a 1,080CV (Cavalli Vapore or horsepower) powertrain, making it Lamborghini's fastest-ever production model, achieving 0-100kmph in 2.4 seconds and 0-200kmph in 6.7 seconds. To complement this performance, Bridgestone has developed bespoke Potenza Sport ultra-high performance tyres, available in 265/30 ZRF21 (front) and 355/25 ZRF22 (rear) sizes. These tyres feature Run Flat technology, allowing continued driving for 80km at speeds up to 80kmph even after a puncture.

For customers looking for track-level performance, Bridgestone has also engineered semi-slick fitments that deliver high grip while remaining road-legal. The track-oriented tyres will be available in 20-inch and 21-inch sizes.

This partnership extends Bridgestone's role as Lamborghini's 'Official Technical Partner'. Over the past five years, Bridgestone has supplied exclusive tyre fitments for models including the Huracan STO, STJ, Tecnica, EVO, Sterrato, Revuelto and Temerario, and now the Fenomeno.

The tyres for the Fenomeno were developed and manufactured in Italy using Bridgestone's Virtual Tyre Development technology. This process eliminates around 200 physical prototypes, reduces physical vehicle testing by 80% and cuts development time by half. The method also lowers raw material use and CO2 emissions during tyre development by up to 60%.
