Farmax India to up capacity on high demand
In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Malla Reddy, executive director of Farmax India, said the recent decision to defer its bonus issue was taken because of the shareholder disapproval.
In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Malla Reddy, executive director of Farmax India , said the recent decision to defer its bonus issue was taken because of the shareholder disapproval. "Most of our shareholders were opposed to give bonus at this juncture," he informed.
Commenting on the core business, Reddy said, the company has received tremendous response from the market to its two newly launched detergent soaps. "We have to increase our production capacity to meet the market demand," he stated.
He further added, "At present our detergent soaps capacity is almost 12,000 tonne capacity per annum."
Going forward, he hopes to maintain 50-60% growth in coming quarters. "We are entering into spices like salt, turmeric and the chili powder also, from which we are expecting good turnovers."
