Mayank Yadav, the latest pace sensation from Lucknow Super Giants broke his own record of bowling the fastest delivery of the tournament against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Mayank Yadav broke his own record by bowling one at the pace of 156.7kph in the match against the RCB.

After defeating RCB, speaking at the post match presentation, LSG skipper KL Rahul praised Yadav stating that one of the balls hit him hard while he was keeping.
Rahul jokingly said that he was happy to enjoy Yadav’s pace from 20 yards behind the stumps with keeping gloves rather than having bat in his hands.
Rahul also said that he has been patiently waiting in the dugout for his chance to play for the franchise. Last season, Yadav missed because of the unfortunate injury. But he is here now playing for us and taking wickets with his pace bowling.
Mayank became the first player to take home ‘player of the match’ awards in his first two IPL games.
In his match against the RCB, Mayank got Glenn Maxwell out on duck. Cameron Green was bowled out as he had no idea of the thunderbolt from Mayank. Rajat Patidar was the third scalp for Yadav who was playing on 29 and looking good to take RCB home.
Mayank Yadav was adjudged player of the match against the RCB as well.
