Delhi Capitals asserted their dominance with a comprehensive six-wicket victory over Gujarat at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium.

Delhi's stellar performance elevated their tournament prospects, while Shubhman Gill's team faced disappointment, needing to regroup after a blow to their Net Run Rate. Sumit Kumar's pivotal contributions led Delhi to chase down the 90-run target in just 8.5 overs, dealing a significant blow to Gujarat.

In the match, Delhi's innings started explosively with Jake Fraser-McGurk's aggressive batting, supported by Abishek Porel and Shai Hope. Rishabh Pant and Sumit Kumar sealed victory swiftly. Meanwhile, Delhi's bowlers dominated, led by Mukesh Kumar's three wickets, with Ishant Sharma and Tristan Stubbs contributing two each, and Axar Patel and Khaleel Ahmed adding one each.
