Hardik Pandya's return to the international circuit after skipping the Sri Lanka ODIs turned out to be a sensational one. Pandya smashed an unbeaten 16-ball 39, powering India to a seven-wicket victory against Bangladesh in the 1st T20I in Gawlior on Sunday. Pandya's innings was laced with five 4s and two 6s, and most of it left the audience in awe of the all-rounder. However, there was one particular shot, which surely broke the internet, drawing reactions such as "infinite aura", "ultimate swagger" on social media.

The shot came in the 12th over of the Indian run chase, which was a mere 128, and it turned out to be the final over of the contest. Taskin Ahmed the bowler hit the deck hard and launched a short delivery at the all-rounder, who nonchalantly guided it over the wicketkeeper for a four. Such was the elegance that even Taskin could do nothing but smile on his way back.

While Ravi Shastri, who was commentating, called it "cheeky" his co-commentator Tamim Iqbal called it "special". Even the duo were slightly shocked with Pandya's lack of acknowledgement to it, which arguably was the best shot of the night.

If we talk about Pandya's reaction to it, the all-rounder didn't even bother to look behind to see where the ball had travelled. The connection was so sweet that Pandya stood tall on his ground and remained unfazed despite knowing what he had just pulled.

"Don’t say Aura, don’t say Swag, just say Hardik Pandya and we’ll understand," reacted IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals on 'X'.

Meanwhile, Pandya was equally good with the ball. He conceded 26 runs from his full quota of overs and picked a wicket.

The outcome helps India take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The second T20I is scheduled for October 9 in New Delhi. The match also saw pace sensation Mayank Yadav and all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy earning their maiden international caps.
