Hardik Pandya is known as much for his cricketing exploits as for his flamboyant fashion choices. The star Indian all-rounder once again turned heads during India’s first practice session for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, when a luxury watch on his wrist became the centre of attention.

According to richardmille.com, Pandya has been sporting a Richard Mille RM 27-04 — a rare, limited-edition timepiece. With its official price not publicly available, speculation around its value has gained traction. The Times of India has estimated the watch to be worth nearly Rs 20 crore, while watch enthusiasts on Instagram, including the account watchspotter, believe it to be closer to Rs 15 crore. If the higher figure holds true, the watch alone is almost eight times the Asia Cup winner’s purse of Rs 2.6 crore.

While Pandya’s off-field choices often spark conversations, his on-field performances remain his biggest statement. The 31-year-old has been one of India’s most reliable match-winners in limited-overs cricket and is on the cusp of achieving significant career milestones.

In T20 internationals, Pandya has scored 1,812 runs in 114 matches at a strike rate of 141.67, including five half-centuries. He requires just 188 more runs to join the 2,000-run club in the format. With the ball, he has 94 wickets to his name and needs six more to complete a century of T20I dismissals. His best figures remain an impressive 4/16.

India will begin their Asia Cup campaign against the UAE on September 10. The much-anticipated clash with Pakistan is scheduled for September 14, before the team faces the UAE again on September 19 in their final group fixture. The Super Four stage will commence on September 20.

As India sets its sights on reclaiming continental supremacy, all eyes will also be on Pandya — both for his game-changing abilities and his unmistakable flair.
