Most of the Cement players have more or less reported inline set of numbers, barring ACC – which has managed to surpass the expectation. Signs of cooling power & fuel cost and pick up demand has played out during the quarter ended June 30, 2023. But the key question to be asked - have petcoke/ thermal coal price bottomed out. Would the lower energy price be passed on via lower cement prices.
