The inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on Monday saw several leading names from different walks of life arrive for the consecration ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol.
Zoho CEO Sridhar Vembu was also in Ayodhya on Sunday with his mother, brother and his wife and recalled how he and his family saw a large crowd outside the Ram Mandir while leaving the temple late on Monday evening, trying to enter the temple and had plans of staying overnight, despite the cold weather. Vembu admitted that he felt humbled and was moved to tears by their devotion.
"As we came out of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya late last evening, we saw a huge crowd assembled to get in to the Mandir in the morning; they were going to stay overnight waiting in the cold. I am humbled and moved to tears by their devotion. In their bhakti lives Lord Shri Ram," Vembu wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.
