A video of Pakistani singer Bilal Saeed throwing a microphone at the crowd while performing has surfaced online. The incident happened during his concert at the Punjab Group of Colleges’ (PGC) Youth Musical Festival in Phalia, Pakistan.
In the clip shared on X by a user named Zain Rajpoot, Saeed was seen performing his 2012 hit song “Ku Ku”. In the midst of his performance, he threw the microphone at the crowd. However, the reason for his behaviour was unknown. He then proceeded to walk off the stage.
According to reports, the singer did not return to the stage and the concert eventually had to be cancelled.

Social media users were not impressed by the singer’s antics and slammed his behaviour in the comments section. A majority of people were left confused as well.
“He is so arrogant,” a user wrote. Another user commented, “Bilal has a reputation for this. He had a whole brawl with his family on camera a few years ago. Don’t think we should be blaming the audience entirely.”
Some users also compared him to Cardi B, who also threw a microphone at a member in the crowd after the person threw a drink at her. “Cardi B light,” a user wrote.
A few people also supported Saeed and blamed the audience for not respecting the artist. “Students lack discipline,” a user remarked.
“I have attended couple of concerts. It is a shame that some of our university fellows who are supposed to be well-mannered lack discipline and ethics,” another user added.
Amid the controversy, the singer took to his official social media handles and issued a clarification. He claimed that the crowd was misbehaving and that's why he threw his mic at them. Sharing a string of pictures of himself while performing, Saeed wrote, "The stage has always been my whole world. I have always felt the most complete and the most alive while performing! I forget my sickness, stress, worries- I leave everything behind when I perform for my fans."
"And no matter what nothing should have come in the way of me and the respect that my stage deserved from me. I love my fans and sometimes that love can be overwhelming for both sides. It wasn’t the first time someone was misbehaving in the crowd but it was definitely the first time I gave the wrong reaction! I should have never left the stage," he added.

Meanwhile, earlier this week, a video of Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan assaulting his student with a shoe spread like wildfire on social media. Khan later issued a clarification as well and claimed that he apologised to his disciple later.
