A billionaire Indian businessman based in Dubai has sparked outrage on social media after footage emerged of him gifting his one-year-old daughter a custom-built pink Rolls-Royce Phantom, valued at approximately Rs 5.8 crore before customisation. The extravagant gesture, made on Father's Day, has sent online users into a frenzy, with many condemning the "unreasonable" display of wealth.

Satish Sanpal, the founder of ANAX Developments and originally from India, was seen alongside his wife Tabinda, presenting the luxury vehicle to their toddler, Isabella. The clip showcased the metallic pink car's luxurious interior, featuring plush pink and white leather chairs, each embroidered with the little girl’s initials. The swanky motor also boasted a personalised number plate proudly proclaiming: "CONGRATULATIONS Isabella." A unique imprint next to each door further revealed the car was custom-built in the UK and specially shipped to Dubai for the occasion, The Sun reported.

The spectacular reveal was nothing short of cinematic.

The family of three arrived at an event space in yet another one of their Rolls-Royces. The venue was decorated with huge teddy bears, vibrant flowers, and colourful balloons, with a pink carpet rolled out for Isabella and her parents. Inside, two colossal doors, intricately designed with the girl's initials "ISS" and her name, dramatically slid open to unveil the ridiculously luxurious vehicle, surrounded by more balloons and another giant teddy bear.

Isabella, who will, of course, have to wait another 17 years before she can legally drive her new toy, was seen dancing alongside the staff.

The video soon went viral, and a significant portion of online commentators slammed the businessman for the unreasonably excessive display of wealth.

"I understand that people can spend their money however they like, but it’s still sad seeing a toddler get a Rolls-Royce when some charities have to beg for support," commented Instagram user Jessie Willis (@jessieblue_). Another user Anil Kumar (@anilyzethis) said, "If it was really for the daughter, he wouldn't have paid Lovin Dubai to post about it. This whole thing is about himself, not for the daughter."

"It’s a tacky and flashy display of wealth and just proves that money does not buy class," added Sheherzad (@sheherzadk), while a fourth Instagram user pointed out, "Must be a really nice feeling when you get gifted something so special, knowing you cannot use it for the next 17 years."

This latest display of opulence is not Isabella’s first brush with over-the-top luxury. In February, for her first birthday party at Atlantis The Royal, the venue was transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with artificial snow, sparkling chandeliers, and a princess-worthy carriage entrance. The star-studded event even featured performances by acclaimed artists such as Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Atif Aslam, and Nora Fatehi, Financial Express reported.
