Auto Expo 2018: Hero unveils its adventure bike XPulse and two 125cc scooters, to be launched later this year

The world’s largest two-wheeler company, Hero Motocorp unveiled India’s first 200cc adventure motorcycle XPulse and two new 125 cc models Hero Duet and Hero Maestro Edge at the Auto Expo 2018 on Wednesday.

The XPulse concept was first showcased in Milan four months ago. The motorcycle is Hero’s second new offering in the premium segment.

Hero XPulse offers 18.4 ps power and 17.1 Nm torque from its 200cc fuel injection engine. The bike also offers turn by turn navigation, full LED headlamps, protective windshield, luggage rack and knuckle guard for adventure seekers.

Venturing into the 125cc scooter segment, Hero offers two new models Maestro Edge and Duet.

Both scooters deliver 9% more power and 17% more torque than its 110cc models. Both scooters produce a power output of 8.7bhp@6750 and max torque of 10.2 nm @ 5000 rpm.

Along with new models the company also showcased recently launched Xtreme 200R which is set to go on sale in three months.
