After losing their opening game, the Chennai Super Kings are back to winning ways with two consecutive victories. CSK beat the Rajasthan Royals by 45 runs on April 19. Moeen Ali picked up three wickets in three overs, conceding just seven runs. With 25 runs, he was also among the run-getters for Chennai.

Rajasthan Royals registered their first win of the season. It was a night were the bowlers dominated. But it was Chris Morris who was the deciding factor in the match. With 29 needed from just two overs, it was Morris who stole the game from under DC's nose with 2 balls to spare!
A win was just around the corner for SRH and then Shahbaz Ahmed entered the fray. The 26-year-old from Haryana picked up three wickets in one over to take the match away from SRH, making it the second time that RCB won their opening two fixtures in the IPL.
Mumbai Indians registered their first win for this IPL season. While Andre Russell picked up 5 wickets and finished the game with the most fantasy points, it was Rahul Chahar's spell that was most impactful to the end result
