Together the pair added 53 runs for the seventh wicket. Rahul was dismissed by Nathan Lyon, courtesy to an absolute blinder by Steve Smith at slips. Smith had earlier dropped Rahul on the first ball of the day. Rahul and Jadeja added 67 runs for the sixth wicket after Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 10.
