Lotus Cars has announced its plans to introduce the Emira, its mid-engine sports car, in the Indian market. The Emira will come with two engine choices: a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 and a supercharged V6.

The vehicle boasts a sleek and athletic design, characterized by its sharp headlights and hood-mounted air vents. Equipped with two spoilers, one at the top and another above the full-width tail lamp, the Eletre features a unique lightbar that illuminates green while charging, providing real-time charge status information.

 The Eletre comes with 22-inch wheels as the standard option, but customers can choose from 20-inch or 23-inch wheels as well. The SUV is currently available in six different exterior colors: Natron Red, Galloway Green, Stellar Black, Kaimu Grey, Blossom Grey, and Solar Yellow.

Every version of the car is equipped with a 112 kWh battery pack, allowing a maximum range of 600 km for the standard and S trims. In contrast, the Eletre R offers a slightly lower range of 490 km.
