Arathy R Menon, daughter of Pahalgam terror attack victim N Ramachandran, expressed deep gratitude and pride after the killing of the three terrorists involved in the April 22 dastardly Pahalgam attack.
According to CNN-News18, Arathy said, “As a survivor, we were waiting for this day," referring to the killing of the three Lashkar terrorists in the recent Dachigam encounter near Srinagar under Operation Mahadev.
Arathy also said, “I deeply feel proud of the Indian Army. I am grateful to the commitment of our Prime Minister and Defence Minister," expressing her appreciation for the country’s leadership and armed forces, the report said.
According to CNN-News18, she praised the professionalism and sensitivity of the investigators involved in the case and reportedly said, "The investigators made me very comfortable," acknowledging their support throughout the long and painful wait for justice.
N Ramachandran was among the 26 people, mostly tourists, who were killed in the brutal terror attack in Baisaran, Pahalgam on April 22.
According to CNN-News18, three terrorists, possibly including Pahalgam attack mastermind Hashim Musa aka Suleiman Shah, have been killed in a gunfight with security forces in the upper reaches of the Dachigam forest near Srinagar. The encounter unfolded as part of a large-scale joint operation by the Indian Army and Jammu & Kashmir Police, launched after gunshots were heard in the area, PTI had reported quoting sources.
