Jammu and Kashmir Elections 2024 BJP candidates list: The stage is set for an intense political face-off as Jammu and Kashmir votes to elect its first government since the abrogation of Article 370 and the bifurcation of the erstwhile state into two union territories.
The stakes are high for all major political parties in the fray, but higher for the Bharatiya Janata Party which has claimed that the Centre’s 2019 decision to abrogate Article 370 has ushered in a new era of development and peace in the Kashmir Valley. While the Congress and the NC have announced a pre-poll alliance, others are entering the fray on their own.
