The CTC or cost-to-company amount offered to graduates passing out with the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) - Udaipur, has risen by 14 percent, as per a release issued by the institution on March 9.
The average CTC of the entire batch of MBA graduates came in at Rs 20.3 lakh, IIM-Udaipur said. The highest salary package offered stood at Rs 36 lakh, whereas, the top 25 percent of the CTCs received by the batch averaged at around Rs 28 lakh, it added.
The top 50 percent of packages offered among the graduates from the batch averaged Rs 24 lakh, the release further noted.

IIM-Udaipur also claimed that the pre-placement offers through summer internships jumped by 30 percent.
"Our focus on industry-relevant curriculum, practical learning, and mentorship has paid off, and our graduates are now thriving in top companies across various sectors," the newspaper quoted Prof Ashok Banerjee, Director, IIM Udaipur, as saying.
Top firms that have been visiting the institute to hire candidates as part of their final placements include Amazon, Bain and Company, IBM, McKinsey, Pidilite, PWC, Wells Fargo and Accenture Strategy, among others.
The new recruiters who looked for talent among the IIM-Udaipur MBA graduates in this round of hiring included the Adani Group, Bank of America, Kearney, SBI Capital Markets, Schneider Electric, Shalina Healthcare and State Street, among others, the report noted.
