'Everyone loves': Tej Pratap Yadav on photos with Anushka Yadav, says 'no one can stop me'

Tej Pratap was expelled from the party and disowned by his father Lalu Prasad Yadav

Amid ongoing family dispute over his alleged relationship with Anushka Yadav, expelled RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav has acknowledged that his photos with her were authentic.

It was his first public admission since the posts went viral last month. “Everyone loves. There is nothing wrong in it,” he said during his interview with a television channel.

He was recently spotted coming out of her house in Patna.

“We share a family relation, which is why I am here to meet her (Anushka Yadav). Of course, no one can stop me from meeting my own family,” he told PTI.

Yadav, the elder son of RJD chief Lalu Yadav,  was expelled after he announced a "long-standing relationship with Anushka Yadav". He  later clarified saying that his Instagram account was hacked. He recently also admitted that he had indeed shared the post.

However, the development did not go well with the family and Lalu expelled Tej Pratap from the party and family.

After his expulsion, several photos of Anushka Yadav and Tej Pratap started doing the rounds on social media. It also drew a response from his estranged wife, Aishwarya Rai.

"Now everyone knows the truth. I want to know if everyone knew about it, then why did he marry me? Why did he ruin my life?" she said. "The 12-year secret is out now. If it was going on for so many years, then obviously, his family knew about it," she said, referring to a now-deleted social media post by Tej Pratap," she said as quoted by NDTV.

The Hasanpur MLA told reporters that he remains in contact with his mother, Rabri Devi, and expressed hope that "everything will be fine, gradually".
